Membership is open to Master Masons duly registered by the United Grand Lodge of England or such other Grand Lodge recognised by United Grand Lodge of England. Proof of Masonic identity and good standing must be provided by a candidate's Lodge Secretary. Current fees are £15 per year (£20 for overseas) with a joining fee of £20. Benefits of membership

JOTC produces a quarterly magazine called the "THE DIADEM" which is sent to each member and ranges over all aspects of Masonic Jewels plus much more besides. Each quarter the Listings Officer invites every member to submit a list of articles they have for sale or wish to buy. These lists are then sent out to each member so that they can see what is available within JEWELS of the CRAFT. This helps to keep Masonic collectables within the Craft and not lost to other collections.

Further, there are two Swap Meets held every year for members to come along to buy, sell and exchange items that may be surplus to their collections.

The members' area of this website includes a forum with jewel buying and selling, and reference section for previously undocumented jewels, including the rare pre-1900 Festival Stewards' jewels and favours.  Online editions of out-of-print copies of the Diadem are gradually being listed, too.
